For this reason, VSAE regularly hosts Events for Parents and Guardians—meetings designed to align expectations, strengthen relationships, and build a solid support foundation for athlete development. More than meetings, these events are spaces for dialogue, exchange of experiences, learning, and clarity about the path each athlete is following
At the most recent meeting, parents and guardians took part in a comprehensive experience, including presentations by the technical staff, clarifications on methodology, explanations of internal routines, performance analyses of the age groups, and an open discussion on career development, sports psychology, and human development.
When family, club, and athlete move forward together, growth happens in a natural, conscious, and sustainable way.
The meeting also included the participation of VSAE’s multidisciplinary team, which addressed key topics:
- Emotional management and pre-match anxiety
- The importance of routine and discipline in development
- Ways to support the athlete without placing unnecessary pressure
- Real pathways within the football market
- The role of family in developing character and responsibility
After the presentations, parents and guardians attended a detailed overview of the age groups, featuring data, performance indicators, and technical observations on the athletes’ development.
The atmosphere was open, welcoming, and transparent. Many parents and guardians shared their experiences, challenges, and expectations, strengthening the sense of community that VSAE considers essential to the process.
The technical staff also took the opportunity to reinforce key points regarding behavior, respect, resilience, and the importance of building healthy habits—both on and off the field.
